What To Expect

Big Talbot Island State Park
During this tour, we ride down 7 mile’s of Amelia Islands designated bike path, over the George Crady Bridge, and into Big Talbot Island where we do a little trail riding down to the beach for a ride along the sand. The power of the bike makes the our trek through the sand easy-breezy. This tour provides a taste of Amelia Islands’ natural beauty and wildlife as we bike through moss-laden live oaks, along natural waterways, and on coastal paths. On the way back, riders have the option to stop at the Shops of Amelia Island for some refreshments prior to returning to the Pedego Store.

Martin Family Anniversary Weekend

Our family of 10 (adult children and grandchildren - 9 to 73 years old) did an all day rental. We had a "blast". The rental bikes (Element Fat Tire) performed beautifully and safe. We went North to Ft Clinch. Found a great restaurant for lunch on the way. The kids are still talking about the experience and are ready to visit Amelia Island again.
Special thanks to Rossi for coordinating with me 3 weeks in advance of our visit. The Pedego service and attention we received was flawless. I highly recommend them. By the way the 9 year (who is a very good bike rider) had no difficulty adapting safely to handling the E-Bike.
A MUST DO

Terry is amazing. This is a MUST do to see Amelia. An absolute MUST

Seeing the real island and the knowledge of the same. Great bikes, great people.
Great honeymoon activity

My husband and I found this as an activity on our honeymoon, and it ended up being a private tour! Terry was an excellent tour guide!! She took us to a beautiful plantation, a driftwood beach, and took many pictures for us. Every one involved at the shop was so friendly in explaining the bikes and giving other suggestions for our trip. 10/10 would recommend, even if you aren’t usual lit a biker.
E bike ride on Amelia Island

E-bikes seemed new and well cared for. Our group tour was enjoyable but thinking back we seemed to only ride down the pathway along the main road out and back and we had just driven down that road to get there, ie not much to see right there. We did visit one beach and a bird viewing area for a short time. Guess now I’m wondering why there was no ride around the actual town or a nature area to see the variety in the area. Perhaps need more history and to see main points of the island— did enjoy the exercise though.
A MUST when visiting the island

We rented the bike without the guided tour and Amy, the store attendant, was extremely helpful in guiding us on the attractions of Amelia and Big Talbot island. The power assist on the bikes made them almost effortless to ride so my family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed the ride while taking the beautiful scenery along the bike trail. Our destination at Boneyard beach did not disappoint with plenty of photo opportunities. Renting these bikes is easily the best excursion on Amelia island and a MUST if visiting.
